Job requirements

-        A Superior Technician Diploma TS, bachelor degree BS in telecommunication/electronic or equivalent is required.

-        0-2 year experience involving technology troubleshooting, repairs or other relevant technical experience.

-        Must be familiar with basic telecom and network equipment.

-        Ability to demonstrate initiative and solve technical problems independently and as part of a team.

Duties and responsibilities

-        Installing telecommunications and related equipment according to job order specifications.

-        Testing and verifying proper operation of the installed equipment.

-        Upgrading and maintaining current telecommunications systems.

-        Running multiple cable types including power, fiber, and network transmission.

-        Terminating DC power, rectifiers, inverters and converters used in telecommunications networks.

-        Running routine tests to ensure that all components are functioning at optimal levels.

-        Performing diagnostic testing to identify and resolve various technical faults.

-        Investigating and resolving customers' complaints in a timely manner.
